The Colorado Dental Association provides member services that promote the
highest standards of care for the public and inspires
members in the pursuit of professional excellence and
personal fulfillment through education, leadership and
communication.
Vision
Statement of the Colorado Dental Association
The Colorado Dental Association maintains
the highest public image of the profession of dentistry,
and promotes a spirit of cooperation and communication
within the healthcare community. The CDA is a financially
secure provider of useful information, education and
services for its members and the public. The CDA favorably
influences the legislative process by championing a
commitment to high-quality oral healthcare along with
excellent professional standards.
Core
Values of the Colorado Dental Association
The
members of the CDA believe in and endeavor to practice
the following core values: ethics, leadership, integrity,
competence, commitment, teamwork, compassion, knowledge,
service, health, advocacy, fellowship, respect, innovation,
open communication and education.
Governing
Rules and Strategic Plan
The
CDA prides itself in strictly adhering to the association
Constitution
and Bylaws, and continues to strive for
excellence by working to accomplish the goals of the
2004-2007
Strategic Plan.
The CDA and its members support and follow the
ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.
CDA Officers
The CDA Executive Committee is comprised of six elected officers and three ex-officio members (Speaker of the House, Editor and Executive Director).
