CDA Allied Dental Team (ADT) Membership

The Colorado Dental Association created the Allied Dental Team to promote and support team dentistry. The term "team" encompasses each member of the dental practice team: dentist, dental hygienist, dental assistant, dental lab technician and all office/business staff.

The Colorado Dental Association strives to provide a voice and home for team members within the association through its Allied Dental Team membership.

Allied Dental Team Membership

Allied Dental Team (ADT) membership in the Colorado Dental Association (CDA) is on an annual basis from January through December. The fee is $55 per year.

Allied Dental Team Membership Benefits

• A voice in state and national issues.
• Volunteer opportunities in CDA community activities including health fairs, children’s
programs and “Give Kids A Smile Day.”
• Volunteer opportunities in state and national advocacy efforts on behalf of the dental
community.
• Preferred registration fees at the CDA Annual Session.
• Preferred registration fees for CE seminars.
• CE focused on topics important and useful to ADT membership.
• CDA Journal and Newsletter articles specifically geared to ADT membership.
• Involvement in study groups.
• Access to the CDA Web site (member’s side).
• Money saving opportunities by using CDA-endorsed products and services (see below).

Allied Dental Team Voice

ADT members have a voice in the CDA:
• One ADT member, elected by the ADT membership, sits as a voting member on the CDA Board of Trustees.
• Two ADT members, elected by the ADT membership, may represent the ADT membership as delegates at the annual CDA House of Delegates meeting as voting delegates.
• All ADT members are welcome to serve on all CDA task forces, committees and councils.
